Jake and The Half Conched Band meets Jimmy Buffett

We were lucky enough to score a few backstage passes for the Cincy show on 6/8. While backstage I ran into a friend that happens to work for Jimmy. We talked a bit and he asked that I stick around and he would be back by to see me later. After waiting a while and the show begining to start I started to leave and find my seat as I was walking out one of Jimmy's bodyguards yelled for me to stick around so I did.
A few moments later we were escorted backstage where my friend then took us around and let us view the stage from Jimmy's standpoint and wow what a view of the crowd he has. He then asked us to sit tight he would try to get Jimmy to come over and say hello.
We waited close to 10 min and from the corner of my eye I see the man headed in our direction. He greeted us with a handshake and thanked us for traveling so far to see him I think I think I said close to 3 words to him because I was so damn nervous. He took a few pictures with us and headed off to get ready for the show. It was over in a blink of an eye and I could have kicked myself for not speaking to him as much as I had wanted to, but he was in a hurry anyway so it was probably best. Till next time Jimmy....LOL
